The South African Police Service (SAPS), in partnership with the Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA), has officially opened applications for the 2026 Graduate Internship Programme.
This 12-month internship programme aims to provide unemployed graduates with valuable workplace experience in administrative and specialised areas within the police service.

To qualify for this internship programme you must:

Be an unemployed South African graduate

Have a Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher)

Be 18 – 35 years old

Have no previous internship experience

Have a clear criminal record

Apply within the province where you live
