📍 JOB LOCATION
- Grand Rapids Metropolitan Area, USA
🧑💻 JOB POSITION: CAD DESIGNER
🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using UGNX CAD
- Prepare detailed product designs from engineering sketches
- Manage 2D & 3D files and track revisions
- Send updated designs using Teamcenter
- Support engineering and program teams
- Ensure designs follow manufacturing standards
🏭 INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience working with:
- Aluminum castings & extrusion
- Plastic injection molding
- Rubber molding
- Stampings & forgings
- Manufacturing processes
🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in:
- CAD / Drafting
- Engineering field
- Minimum 5 years experience in CAD design
- Strong computer skills (UGNX CAD + Microsoft Office)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
🧠 SKILLS NEEDED
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to work with engineers
- Ability to handle design changes and feedback
- Understanding of technical drawings
