JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Store Cleaner to start working ASAP. Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited requires the services of reputable Store Cleaner. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;

• Must have grade 12 / Matric
• Must have a minimum of 6 months’ cleaning experience
• Must have sound command of the English language
• Must have basic customer service
• Must have additional language that is area specific
• Must be willing and able to work retail hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:  

The applicant must have the following skills and competences

• Must have prior cleaning experience
• Must have customer service
• Must have trustworthy and honest
• Must have attention to detail.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:

• To provide a daily high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store, shop floor and communal areas, before the store opens.
• To develop routines to ensure all areas of the store are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure the canteen and restrooms are clean, and stocked with the necessary products at all times.
• To be available throughout operational hours to clean up as and when required.
• To ensure correct cleaning products and equipment are used for specific jobs.
• To ensure the wet floor sign is up and visible at both ends, when cleaning the floor.
• To be friendly, professional and able to assist customers.
• To perform duties according to Health and Safety Regulations.
