Position: Security Officer
Key Responsibilities
-
Patrol assigned locations to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure safety compliance.

Operate alarm and CCTV surveillance systems to detect potential security risks.
-
Respond promptly to emergencies such as intrusions, fire alarms, or medical incidents.
-
Report and document all security incidents in detailed logs.
-
Assist law enforcement and emergency services when required.
-
Manage disturbances and de-escalate conflicts professionally.
-
Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergencies.
-
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, security checks, and incidents.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 or equivalent.
-
PSIRA Certification (registered and valid) – preferred.
-
Basic First Aid and CPR Certification – required.
-
Fire Safety Training – advantageous.
Experience
-
Entry-level applicants are welcome to apply.

Experience in security, public safety, law enforcement, or military service.
